Trees and Mist

MY FIRST OIL PAINTING EVER!

Took about 30 mins-ish

5 in x 7 in (small!)

Used:
Oil paints
on back stapled traditional canvas
hog bristle hair brushes
palette
9 different colors


I am very proud of this painting, as it was my first oil painting, and I didn't really know what I was doing. And it only took 30 minutes, and probably half of that was mixing colors. I thought the "technique" I used was lots of fun (like I said, I didn't really know what I was doing - I was just doing what felt right to get the look I thought I wanted, haha). I think I would have been more happy with this if I used more browns though.
